Sodexo Donates 100,000 Euro to Haitian Earthquake Victims Dear Colleagues,

We have all seen the devastation suffered in Haiti as a result of the earthquake that has killed thousands of people. Our thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones and whose lives have been impacted by this disaster.

While Sodexo does not have business operations in Haiti, we have many employees from that country or who have Haitian relatives. We hope that those of you that are still waiting to hear from family and friends in Haiti will receive word from them very shortly.

In solidarity and through our commitment to local communities, we have decided that Sodexo will donate 100,000 euro to our STOP Hunger Foundation which will appropriately direct this donation to the World Food Programme, a United Nations organization that has a significant presence on the ground in Haiti and who will be able to put these funds to immediate good use.

I am impressed by the spontaneous mobilization which many of you have already demonstrated over the last couple of days and in particular by the teams in Sodexo Antilles and North America. Should you have the desire to give a personal donation, you may also do so through your local STOP Hunger organization
